What is night feast?

Staged at the iconic Brisbane Powerhouse, Night Feast is a month-long sensory celebration of feasting and art. Spanning across four weeks, The culinary feast is paired with a menu of exclusive dishes you can only find at Night Feast, immersive art interventions, performances, and live music.  

When is Night Feast?

Night Feast will be returning to Brisbane Powerhouse from 29 July – 23 August 2026.

WED–FRI: 4.30PM – 9PM

SAT: 4PM – 9PM

SUN: 3PM – 8PM

EKKA Public Holiday: 3PM – 8PM

Where is Night Feast?

Night Feast will be staged at the iconic Brisbane Powerhouse, spanning the forecourt and surrounds.

Brisbane Powerhouse is located on Yuggera and Turrbal Country at 119 Lamington Street, in New Farm, Queensland.

Is Night Feast ENTRY free?

Yes, entry to Night Feast is FREE with food and drinks available for purchase through our secure online ordering system.

Is Night Feast cashless?

Yes, Night Feast is cashless.

Is Night Feast suitable for children?

+

Yes, this is an all ages event. Children should be accompanied by an adult.

Is Night Feast accessible?

Night Feast is wheelchair accessible.

There are six (6) accessible parking spaces for permit holders in the Brisbane Powerhouse car park.

Is Night Feast sustainable?

Night Feast has a target of zero landfill.

Packaging and waste at Night Feast are reusable, compostable or recyclable. Garbage is hand-sorted onsite by a team of waste stream professionals at New Era Cleaning in addition, paid staff clean thousands of glasses onsite to reuse each night.

Can I smoke or vape at Night Feast?

Night Feast and Brisbane Powerhouse buildings and precinct are non-smoking and vaping areas.

We do have a designated smoking and vaping area available near Mary Mae’s Bar & Kitchen.

Can I bring my dog?

Dogs are welcome, provided they are on a leash and stay outside the venues.

What happens if it’s raining?

+

The event will go ahead if it’s raining, just bring your umbrella, raincoat or poncho. There is some shelter.

If the weather is severe, we may pause or postpone the event. Follow our advice through social media @nightfeastbrisbane.

IS NIGHT FEAST OPEN ON THE EKKA PUBLIC HOLIDAY?

Yes, Night Feast will be on open on the EKKA public Holiday 12 AUG, 3PM – 8PM.

GETTING TO NIGHT FEAST

What’s the best way to get to Night Feast?

Fares have been reduced across public transport to a 50 cent flat rate across all zones and modes on the Translink network across Queensland.  

To find the best public transport route to/from Brisbane Powerhouse go to Journey Planner.  

Buses and ferries can connect you via Brunswick St/Merthyr Rd and New Farm Park.  

Brisbane Powerhouse has a private paid car park with a further 200 free parking spaces available within New Farm Park. However, we encourage you to consider alternative transport.  

Consider a taxi, rideshare, cycling, a scooter or walking.

Where’s the pick-up/drop-off area for taxis/rideshares & private cars?

There’s a dedicated pick-up/drop-off area for taxis/rideshares, private cars and coaches along the ring road in New Farm Park closest to the Brisbane Powerhouse entrance.

How many kitchens are involved with Night Feast?

For Night Feast 2026, there are 20 kitchens and bars stallholders.  

How do I purchase food and drinks?

+

Food and drinks are available for purchase through our online ordering platform Bopple accessible via QR code. For our drinks-only bars, no QR code is required.  

  

Payment by card can also be made directly across the counter.  

  

When you buy your first drink* at Night Feast, you’ll need to also purchase a glass for $7.50. At the end of your visit, you have three options for this glass:   

  1. Return it to the Glass Return Tent to receive $5 cash back, we keep $2.50 for our Zero Landfill Project   
  1. Deposit it into a Glass Return Box and thereby gift your $7.50 to our Zero Landfill Project   
  1. Or keep it, it’s quite lovely   

All proceeds from glasses fund our Zero Landfill Project.

Can you order from more than one kitchen at the same time?

Through our online ordering platform, you can order from multiple kitchens at the same time without leaving your seat. When your meal is ready you will receive a text message notifying you that your order is ready for collection.

Do you cater for dietary requirements?

Yes, the overall menu across the site will cater for all dietary requirements.  

Night Feast cannot guarantee the absence of cross-contamination in food or beverages. If you have a dietary requirement or allergy, please speak directly with the relevant kitchen before ordering. 

Do you cater for Food allergens?

Some stalls are bringing allergen meals to Night Feast, which you can filter and view on the Bopple page.

Can I bring alcohol?

No, you can’t bring your own alcohol, however, drinks will be available for purchase from our bars and kitchens.  

Why do I need to buy my glass?

+

Yes, it’s okay if you keep the glass.

Can I bring my own glass?

Yes, but it must be clean. The bartender can refuse to serve a drink into a dirty glass.

What happens if I don’t redeem my glass deposit?

+

By not redeeming your glass deposit of $7.50 you help fund Night Feast achieve zero landfill. Look for the Glass Return Boxes on the night to see where you can leave your glass in support of our Zero Landfill Project.

What happens if I switch drinks during my visit?

The bartender will switch your dirty glass for a clean glass.

What is The Sapporo Izakaya by Nonda?

The Sapporo Izakaya by Nonda is an exclusive pop-up restaurant combining the culinary mastery of the contemporary Japanese restaurant Nonda and legendary Sapporo beer to create the perfect pair of Japanese food and beer.  

What is significant about Sapporo Izakaya by Nonda?

Night Feast and Sapporo have collaborated to bring an authentic Izakaya experience to the festival.  

As the only seated venue at Night Feast, the new Sapporo Izakaya by Nonda places distinguished chefs at the centre of the dining experience crafting an elevated winter encounter where exceptional Japanese food, considered beer pairings and immersive atmosphere come together. 

Can I swap out items on the Sapporo Izakaya by Nonda menu?

No, the menu is set and items cannot be swapped.

How will I order my food and drink when dining at Sapporo Izakaya by Nonda?

Table service will be provided when you dine in at the Sapporo Izakaya by Nonda.  

Will Sapporo Izakaya by Nonda have takeaway?

Yes, Sapporo Izakaya by Nonda will facilitate Bopple ordering and takeaway. Please collect your food from the side window once you have been notified that it is ready.  

Can I make a booking at the Sapporo Izakaya by Nonda?

The Sapporo Izakaya by Nonda does not accept reservations; walk-ins only. 

Who can enter the American Express Garden lounge?

+

American Express Card Members and their guests are invited to escape the crowds, sit back and relax in the American Express Garden Lounge with reserved seating and access to a private bar. To gain entry, simply show your valid American Express Card at the entrance. Capacity, guest limits and wait times may apply.

Yes. You can order food from all restaurants from the comfort of the American Express Garden Lounge through the Bopple app. Simply wait for your notification to pick up your food on your phone, pick it up from the vendor and enjoy it from the American Express Garden Lounge with a beverage from your private bar.

Better Off Red will take place on 16 AUG 2026 at 12PM. The experience with be approximately 3 hours.

Is this event outdoors?

Yes, it is but will be fully under cover.

What dietaries will be catered for?

+

Better Off Red is a set menu designed for sharing. Due to the nature of this experience, cross-contact between ingredients is unavoidable. Alternatives may be available for vegetarians on request only.

The menu naturally includes gluten free and dairy free elements; however, we cannot guarantee the absence of cross-contamination for guests with coeliac disease, allergies or other medical dietary requirements.

can i make a group booking?

If you have a group of 11+ please fill out our booking form here. Groups less than 10 please book via Ticketek.

how will seating be assigned?

+

Better Off Red is a general admission long lunch. Guests will be seated according to their booking. If you would like to be seated with guests who have booked separately, please contact us ahead of the event and we will do our best to accommodate.

On arrival, please have your confirmation email ready along with the name under the booking, and our team will guide you to your table.

I haven’t received a ticket. What should i do?

You do not need a physical ticket to attend. Your order confirmation and ID will be used on the day to check you in and direct you to your seat.
