Aidan Beiers is the owner and operator of Black Bear Lodge, a premier live music and DJ venue, where he has been a leading force for nine years. Additionally, he co-founded Natural Steps, a distinctive brand specializing in hand-built sound systems and innovative party experiences.

‘Never planning, always feeling’ is what guides the sound of Squidgenini aka Bella a producer, vocalist and DJ based in the subtropical wonderland of Meanjin/Brisbane, Australia. Although her moniker has remained the same for almost a decade, Squid’s productions traverse the vast landscapes of lo-fi hip-hop, upbeat soulful house and minimal techno releasing on labels Beats of No Nation, Pocketmoth and Co-Op. Expanding into the terrain of DJing has allowed Squid to continue telling stories on the fly while fostering a deep dive into feeling, moving and grooving on dance floors all around the world. 

The last few years has seen Squid play at the esteemed Potatohead in Bali, The Lighthouse in the bustling metropolis of Saigon, Sydney’s most iconic nightclub – Club 77 and hold down a residency in her hometown’s musical hotspot, The Black Bear Lodge all while sharing lineups with a wide variety of international acts such as Jamie Tiller, Dr. Banana, Perko, DJ T., K-Lone, Facta, Claire Morgan, Pachyman and Gabriel Posso.
